Olmsted Brothers Green
In 2012, Greenstone, the City of Spokane and the Washington State Department of Ecology entered into an agreement to collaborate on the development of a stormwater management system to stop discharge into the Spokane River. This system diverts stormwater in the Monroe Street corridor, north of the Spokane River, and some eastern portions of Kendall Yards, from discharge into the Spokane River. -
Greenacres Neighborhood Park
MT-LA led a multi-disciplinary team in the development of construction documents for Phase I construction. Phase I included: Street frontage improvements, parking, restroom, play area, splash pad, two shelters and open play fields. The project included construction documentation, bidding, permitting and construction administration phases. In addition, part of the program was to coordinate development of the park site with a planned elementary school on the north side of the property. -
Browns Park Master Plan and Phase I & II Construction
MT-LA was selected by the City of Spokane Valley to develop multiple conceptual design options for the renovation of an existing park into a tournament sand volleyball complex. MT-LA prepared conceptual plans for a public meeting and lead the public process for the initial stages of design which now has 8 sand volleyball courts and a splash pad. -
Howard Amon Park Master Plan and Sturgeon Cove
Howard Amon Park is a 40+ acre park with 1500 feet of Columbia River frontage. The master planning process for the park included over 20 community workshops and individual stakeholder interviews. Mike Terrell, ASLA led the multi-disciplinary team during the master planning and Phase I project design. The master plan includes creation of multiple entertainment venues, expansion of the existing river trail, landmark fountain, and other elements which reflect the history and cultural importance of the area. -
Southridge Tournament Sports Fields Complex
MT-LA led a multi-disciplinary team in the master planning and Phase I development of Kennewickâs Southridge Tournament Sports Fields Complex. The park is located in Kennewick, WA and serves as a major tournament recreation facility. The MT-LA team provided master planning, management, operations proforma development and phase I design for the sports field complex.
