Holl Boulevard Streetscape
MT-LA provided streetscape planning and design for the River District Community and Neighborhood Entry Drive at Holl Boulevard. The project included coordination with the developer and the City of Liberty Lake. Sidewalk and curb ramp design, median and median planting design, lighting selections and street tree selections were key elements of the project. Mike Terrell worked with the developer to provide a pedestrian friendly atmosphere throughout the neighborhood, providing ample sidewalk space and easy connections from homes to sidewalks. A variety of evergreen and deciduous trees were selected to provide year round color and interest. -
The Nest—Kendall Yards
The Kendall Yards neighborhood showcases an integrated mixed use community, with a distinctly urban style. Designed to be pedestrian oriented, Kendall Yards provides easy access and connectivity to surrounding neighborhoods and downtown Spokane. The Nest plaza at Cedar Street and Summit Parkway provides a gathering space for the community with spectacular views of the Spokane River Gorge. MT-LA was responsible for all aspects of the plaza’s design from concept through construction documents. -
Harvard Road Roundabout
City of Liberty Lake and Washington State Department of Transportation’s Harvard Road / I-90 Roundabout. MT n LA prepared graphics and 3-D models for landscape and entry monument signage concepts for the proposed roundabout. MT n LA worked with the City and WSDOT staff to select a preferred option and subsequently prepared construction drawings for the landscape, irrigation and masonry signs. -
Big Trout Lodge
MT-LA provided conceptual design and prepared construction documents for the community garden and gathering space at Big Trout Lodge. Program elements included raised garden boxes, a public fireplace, seating areas, community herb garden and cleaning / potting benches.
