MT-LA was selected by Eastern Washington University to complete a Waste Water Re-use Study and Irrigation Master Plan for EWU’s Cheney Campus. The study included the identification and evaluation of sump pumps and other non-potable water sources to determine daily discharge rates and location of discharge to storm drains. 

Additionally, volumes of waste water for re-use as irrigation were calculated and compared to campus wide irrigation demand. Storage tank volumes and locations based on supply and irrigation demand were identified. Pumping systems and central control systems were proposed. MT- LA developed the master plan and evaluation of probable costs for implementation.
