Half Moon Park

& Five Cairns

Roundabout

Half Moon Park is a green infrastructure park that treats a large volume of runoff from the River District development within the parks open space. The Five Cairns at Half Moon brings a richness and sense of place to a growing neighborhood in Liberty Lake.

This park has particular regional importance which is portrayed through the integration of stormwater management, aquifer protection, sculpture and poetry. The utilization of boulders excavated nearby in the play area and Five Cairns brings context to the park’s play area and the sculptures located in the round-a-bout.

Since it’s opening in 2008, the park has hosted concerts, bicycle criterions, movies and other neighborhood events.
